Vanity LED

The GLAIVE Vanity LED is built on an aluminum LED mounting plate that carries the integrated light source and helps dissipate heat, enclosed by a polycarbonate diffusing lens and finished with steel end caps and a steel canopy. The fixture is available in nominal 18", 24", 30", 36", and 48" lengths; all sizes share a 2.1" lens profile height, a 4.8" square canopy, and a 2.6" wall projection, keeping the fixture low-profile and within ADA protrusion limits for corridors and public restrooms. The GLAIVE installs as a wall-mounted fixture over a standard junction box, with the canopy concealing the electrical connection. It is damp location rated for bathrooms and other interior spaces exposed to moisture. End caps and canopy are offered in Black, Bronze, Chrome, or Satin Nickel.

The GLAIVE Vanity LED operates on 120V line voltage. Wattage ranges from 12W to 32W depending on length (12W at 18", 16W at 24", 20W at 30", 24W at 36", and 32W at 48"), with delivered output ranging from 1080 to 2240 lumens (1080, 1440, 1800, 2160, and 2240 lumens respectively). Efficacy is 90 lm/W across the 18" through 36" lengths and 70 lm/W at 48". Color temperature is field selectable in two configurations: the FS option offers three settings of 2700K, 3000K, and 3500K, and the FS5 option offers five settings of 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K, and 5000K. CRI is 90. The fixture is dimmable with compatible Triac dimmers and operates at a power factor greater than 0.9.

Sizing the GLAIVE to your mirror: With five lengths from 18" to 48", the GLAIVE can be scaled closely to the vanity it serves. A common guideline is to choose a fixture roughly two-thirds to three-quarters the width of the mirror below it, so the light spans the face evenly without extending past the mirror edges. The 18" and 24" sizes suit powder rooms and single-sink vanities, while the 36" and 48" sizes are better proportioned for wide mirrors and double vanities.

Choosing a color temperature: The FS option covers three warm-to-neutral settings — the most flexible choice for residential baths, where warmer settings flatter skin tones and coordinate with incandescent-style lighting elsewhere in the home. The FS5 option adds cooler 4000K and 5000K settings, useful in commercial restrooms, multifamily projects that need to match existing neutral or cool fixtures, or any application where crisp, daylight-like task light is preferred. Because CCT is selected in the field, a single stocked SKU can be adapted on site.

ADA compliance and damp location rating: The GLAIVE is ADA compliant, with a 2.6" wall projection that keeps it within accessibility protrusion limits for corridors, restrooms, and public spaces. It is also damp location rated, making it well suited to bathrooms and other interior areas exposed to humidity and condensation. The fixture is intended for interior installation only.

Dimming compatibility: The GLAIVE is compatible with Triac dimmers, allowing vanity light to be brought down from full task brightness to a softer ambient level for evening use or hospitality settings. Confirm dimmer compatibility and minimum load requirements with your electrician prior to installation, particularly when multiple fixtures share a single dimmer.

Built for quick availability: The GLAIVE is an in-stock item, making it a practical choice for renovation schedules, turnover work, and projects where lead time matters. Field-selectable CCT further simplifies stocking, since one configuration can serve multiple color temperature requirements across a project.

Finish selection: Satin Nickel and Chrome integrate naturally with cooler-toned faucets, towel bars, and cabinet hardware, with Chrome offering the brighter, more reflective of the two. Black provides a graphic, contemporary outline against light walls and tile, while Bronze brings a warmer, deeper tone suited to traditional or transitional baths with oil-rubbed or dark metal accents.

Ordering logic: SKUs follow the format GLAIVE-[Size]-[CCT]-[Finish]. For example, GLAIVE-18-FS-BK specifies the 18" GLAIVE Vanity LED with three-step field-selectable CCT in Black. Size codes are 18, 24, 30, 36, and 48; CCT codes are FS (three settings) and FS5 (five settings); finish codes are BK (Black), BZ (Bronze), CH (Chrome), and SN (Satin Nickel).
