Architectural Cylinder LED

CRISP is constructed of rigid die-cast aluminum with a powder-coated polyester finish available in black or white. The acrylic lens sits over interchangeable cylinder optics, allowing beam spread to be swapped in the field without tools, and the aluminum housing serves as the light engine's heatsink to support long-term LED performance. Reflector inserts are available in black, white, copper, or chrome, offering a decorative accent independent of the housing finish; a 12" reflector accessory is also available for the 4" size.

CRISP supports surface and suspended mounting to recessed or surface-mounted junction boxes. Surface-mount units install directly to a recessed junction box or via a deep canopy with conduit knockouts for surface-mounted boxes. Suspended units hang from field-adjustable cable or a rigid steel stem in 2', 4', or 8' lengths; the rigid stem also supports sloped ceiling installations through an integral swivel canopy. Dimensions scale with fixture size, from a compact 4" housing to a larger 8" housing suited to higher-ceiling or higher-output applications.

CRISP operates on 120–277V AC input with a power factor greater than 0.9. Wattage is field selectable by size — 11W, 18W, or 25W for the 4" fixture; 20W, 30W, or 40W for the 6" fixture; and 29W, 44W, or 58W for the 8" fixture — delivering between approximately 1,140 and 5,220 lumens depending on size and wattage selection, at efficacies of up to 105 lm/W. Color temperature is field selectable among 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, and 4000K, with 80+ CRI standard and 90+ CRI available by consulting the factory. Beam angle is field selectable among 15°, 24°, 36°, and 60° options, and the fixture supports 1–10V dimming to 10%, 0–10V dimming to 1%, or Triac dimming. 

Choosing a size:
CRISP's 4", 6", and 8" diameters let specifiers standardize on a single architectural cylinder family across a project with varying ceiling heights and light output needs. The 4" size suits accent and task-oriented applications in offices and classrooms, the 6" size fits general-purpose commercial illumination, and the 8" size is built for higher-output needs in larger volumes or civic and transportation spaces where broader coverage per fixture reduces the total fixture count.

Choosing a color temperature:
CRISP's field-selectable CCT covers four settings from 2700K through 4000K, allowing the same SKU to serve warmer, more residential-feeling common areas as well as brighter, task-focused classrooms and offices. Because CCT is set in the field, contractors can finalize color temperature at installation rather than committing to it at time of order.

Understanding beam angle and reflector finish:
CRISP's four beam angle options are built around interchangeable cylinder optics that swap in the field without tools, so a fixture can be reconfigured on-site if a project's lighting design calls for a different spread than originally specified. Reflector finish is a separate decision from housing finish — a copper or chrome reflector introduces warmth or brightness inside the cylinder's throat as a design accent, while black or white reflectors keep the fixture's appearance understated.

Mounting versatility:
CRISP supports both surface and suspended mounting from the same core housing, with suspended installations available on field-adjustable cable or rigid stem in 2', 4', or 8' lengths. The rigid stem's integral swivel canopy accommodates sloped ceiling conditions, making CRISP a workable specification even where ceiling geometry varies across a project.

Life-safety and emergency lighting:
CRISP is available with an optional integrated emergency battery pack, allowing the fixture to switch automatically to emergency operation for up to two hours if AC power fails, then return to charging mode once power is restored. This lets CRISP satisfy critical life-safety lighting requirements in corridors, stairwells, and other code-driven spaces without specifying a separate emergency fixture.

Ordering logic:
CRISP uses the format CRISP-[Size]-[Dimming]-[CRI]-[CCT]-[Beam Angle]-[Housing Finish]-[Reflector Finish]-[Mounting Type]-[Cable or Stem Length]. For example, CRISP-4-110-80-27-15-BK-WH-PR-2 specifies a 4" cylinder with 1–10V dimming, 80+ CRI, 2700K color temperature, and a 15° beam angle, in a black housing with a white reflector, configured as a pendant with flat canopy on a 2' cable or stem mount. The 12" reflector accessory and emergency battery options are ordered separately.

Finish selection:
Black and white housing finishes cover the majority of commercial ceiling and wall conditions, with black suited to a low-visibility, recessed appearance and white suited to brighter, more open environments. Reflector finish can be selected independently to introduce a subtle metallic accent — copper for warmth, chrome for a more polished, contemporary look — without altering the fixture's overall footprint in the space.
