Illuminated Mirror LED

The RAM-2LV features a 5mm silver-backed, copper-free, low-iron glass mirror set within a machined aluminum frame finished in Silver Brushed Aluminum. The mirror mounts via a concealed aluminum keyhole bracket for a clean, frameless-looking installation, with LED light bars integrated behind a frosted mirror strip along both vertical edges. The unit carries an IP44 rating, suited for bath and vanity environments where moisture and humidity are present, and is cETLus certified. An optional integrated defogger pad can be added behind the mirror surface, powered by a single or dual feed configuration depending on the touch button and control setup selected. The RAM-2LV is available in eight standard sizes ranging from 24" x 32" to 40" x 40", with custom sizes available upon request through the factory. 

The RAM-2LV operates on 120V 50/60Hz power with a power factor of 0.6. LED wattage ranges from 19 to 30 watts depending on mirror size, delivering 513 to 810 lumens at a consistent efficacy of 27 lm/W. Mirrors are available in five standard color temperatures — 2700K, 3000K, 4000K, 5000K, and 6000K — or as a field-selectable 3CCT version toggling between 2700K, 3000K, and 4000K via an integrated slider switch. CRI is 90+. Units with the integrated anti-fog defogger draw an additional 32 to 54 watts depending on size. Dimming is available via hardwire ELV dimming, hardwire 0-10V dimming, or touch button control on the mirror surface, with non-dimmable push button and hardwire on/off options also offered. 

Part of the RAM mirror family: The RAM-2LV Illuminated Mirror is part of the RAM family of illuminated mirrors from Dunton House Decorative Lighting. Its dual vertical LED light bars and field-selectable CCT options make it a natural pairing with other Dunton House vanity and sconce fixtures, such as the CAL vanity light family, for a coordinated bath lighting scheme.

Choosing a color temperature: For spaces where the mirror will be viewed alongside other fixed-CCT lighting, one of the five standard color temperature options — ranging from warm 2700K to cool 6000K — ensures a consistent look throughout the room. The field-selectable 3CCT version is well suited to model homes, spec projects, or situations where the final lighting preference isn't determined until installation, allowing the electrician or homeowner to select between 2700K, 3000K, and 4000K on site via the integrated slider switch.

Defogger and motion sensor options: The integrated anti-fog defogger keeps the mirror surface clear after hot showers or baths, an especially useful feature in smaller bathrooms or ensuite spaces with limited ventilation. Depending on the control configuration selected, the defogger can share a single power feed with the LED lighting or run on its own dedicated feed for independent control. The radar motion sensor option adds hands-free illumination, automatically activating the mirror when someone approaches — a practical addition for powder rooms, guest baths, or accessible design applications.

Dimming compatibility: The RAM-2LV supports hardwire ELV dimming, hardwire 0-10V dimming, or non-dimmable hardwire on/off control, each with wall control provided by others. Alternatively, a touch button on the mirror surface offers self-contained dimming without a separate wall control, and is required when the field-selectable 3CCT option is specified. A basic push button on/off control is also available for installations that don't require dimming.

Ordering logic: Use the format RAM-2LV-[Size]-[CCT]-[Finish]-[Options], for example RAM-2LV-2432-27-SL-HWELV, which specifies the RAM-2LV in the 24" x 32" size with 2700K color temperature, Silver Brushed Aluminum finish, and hardwire ELV dimming.

Size and installation planning: Sizes range from a compact 24" x 32" up to a generous 40" x 40", with several rectangular and square formats in between to suit single and double vanity configurations. Confirm rough-in dimensions and mounting cleat placement against the mirror's hardware backboard before installation, and consult the factory for custom sizing outside the standard range. Note that a 50-piece minimum order quantity applies if the selected mirror size and configuration aren't already in stock.
