The REFLECTIONS-ID Indirect Back-Lit Illuminated Mirror LED is a wall-mounted mirror that channels its LED light source behind the glass, producing a soft, indirect glow around the mirror's perimeter rather than a visible light line. The effect reads as quiet, architectural ambiance — a halo of light that flatters the space without competing with it, making REFLECTIONS-ID equally suited to primary bathrooms, powder rooms, and guest suites.
Lighting is available with either a single fixed CCT or a field-selectable 3-CCT setting, giving specifiers and homeowners the flexibility to match the mirror's light quality to the surrounding room design either at time of order or after installation. Control is handled through hard-wire dimming or an integrated touch button, with several integral defogger configurations available to keep the mirror surface clear after a hot shower. An optional radar motion sensor is also available for hands-free, automatic illumination.
Construction quality supports long-term reliability in a wet-adjacent environment. The mirror uses a copper-free, silver-backed low-iron glass for a true, distortion-free reflection, set within an anodized aluminum frame finished in silver brushed aluminum. LED light output ranges from 28 to 50 watts depending on size, with an additional 32 to 78 watts consumed when the integral defogger option is specified and active — the two loads can be wired and controlled independently. Delivered lumens range from 616 to 1,100 across the size range at a constant efficacy of 22 lm/W. Color temperature is available as a single fixed setting of 2700K, 3000K, 4000K, 5000K, or 6000K, or as a field-selectable 3-CCT option among 2700K, 3000K, and 4000K. CRI is 90+.Â

Where the standard REFLECTIONS mirror delivers a visible edge-lit glow, REFLECTIONS-ID conceals its light source for a softer, indirect wash — giving specifiers a way to vary the mirror's light character across a single vanity suite or between adjoining spaces.
Choosing a color temperature: REFLECTIONS-ID's single fixed CCT settings range from a warm 2700K to a crisp 6000K, allowing the mirror's light to be matched to the surrounding room lighting and finishes. For projects that need flexibility after installation, the field-selectable three-setting option lets the electrician or homeowner choose among 2700K, 3000K, and 4000K on site — a useful choice when the final palette or adjacent fixtures haven't been finalized at time of order. Note that field-selectable CCT requires touch button control.
Understanding the integral defogger options: REFLECTIONS-ID offers three integral defogger configurations to prevent condensation buildup on the mirror surface after a hot shower. A single power feed option (DFS) runs the LED light and defogger together with no touch button; a dual power feed option (DFDT) separates the two circuits and adds a dedicated touch button; and a dual power feed, hardwired option (DFDHW) separates the circuits without a touch button, relying on wall control by others. Confirm the appropriate configuration with your electrician based on how the mirror's lighting and defogger will be controlled.
Dimming and control compatibility: REFLECTIONS-ID supports ELV hardwire dimming, 0-10V hardwire dimming, non-dimmable hardwire on/off control, or a touch button mounted directly on the mirror surface. The touch button option is required whenever the field-selectable three-setting CCT is specified, since it provides the on-mirror control needed to change color temperature after installation. A push-button on/off control is also available for projects that don't require dimming.
Hands-free illumination with radar motion sensor: For an added layer of convenience, REFLECTIONS-ID can be specified with an integral radar motion sensor that enables hands-free automatic illumination as someone approaches the mirror — a practical touch for primary suites, guest baths, and accessible design applications.
Ordering logic: REFLECTIONS-ID is specified using the format REFLECTIONS-ID-[Size]-[CCT]-SL-[Options], for example REFLECTIONS-ID-2432-27-SL-HWELV for a 24" x 32" mirror with a 2700K fixed color temperature, silver brushed aluminum finish, and ELV hardwire dimming. Additional letter codes can be appended for defogger and motion sensor options as needed. Note that orders for sizes not held in factory stock carry a 50-piece minimum order quantity.
Finish selection: REFLECTIONS-ID ships standard in silver brushed aluminum, a neutral, understated finish that integrates cleanly with most bath hardware and cabinetry tones. Custom finishes are available upon request — consult SAGE Brands or your factory representative for lead times and minimums.
