The IG-LV-EL features a precision die-cast aluminum housing engineered for long-term in-ground installation. The eyelid trim — machined to a 0.87 in. setback and 0.79 in. height — shields the polycarbonate lens and light source, providing directional output while minimizing glare and light trespass. The fixture installs flush to grade with a 3.07 in. trim diameter and a 4.13 in. can depth. A 0.87 in. knockout accommodates low-voltage wiring entry, and the module height of 3.5 in. ensures compatibility with standard landscape well installations. The push-button CCT selector is accessible on the exterior of the housing for fast, tool-free field adjustment. Finished in a durable powder-coat available in Bronze or Black.

The IG-LV-EL operates on 12–24VDC, making it fully compatible with standard low-voltage landscape lighting transformers. The fixture consumes 5 watts and delivers 100 lumens at an efficacy of 20 lm/W. Color temperature is field selectable via push button across five settings: 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K, and 5000K. CRI is 80 with a 30-degree beam angle for focused directional output.

Choosing between eyelid and open-top well lights: The eyelid trim of the IG-LV-EL is the defining feature that separates it from standard open well lights. The eyelid shades the lens and directs the beam in a single orientation, making it the right choice when controlling glare and light direction matters — uplighting a wall or façade, grazing a hardscape surface, or illuminating a pathway without spilling light into adjacent areas. An open well light distributes light more broadly in all directions and is better suited to accent plantings or general in-ground ambiance. If the application calls for precision, choose the eyelid.

Beam angle and placement guidance: The IG-LV-EL delivers a 30-degree beam angle, well suited to focused uplighting of architectural elements, tall shrubs, or narrow tree trunks at close range. For wider subjects or broader wash effects, consider spacing multiple fixtures or pairing with a wider-beam well light. As a general rule, position the fixture 12–18 inches from the base of the subject for uplighting and angle accordingly to keep the beam on target.

CCT selection guidance: The field-selectable CCT (2700K–5000K) allows a single SKU to be tuned on-site to match the surrounding environment or client preference. Warmer temperatures (2700K–3000K) are the most common choice for residential landscape lighting, lending a soft, inviting quality to plantings and architectural features. Cooler temperatures (3500K–5000K) read as crisper and more contemporary, and work well in modern commercial or civic settings where a brighter, more neutral light is desired. CCT is set via the push button on the fixture body before installation.

Ordering logic: Use the format IG-LV-EL-[CCT]-[Finish]. Example: IG-LV-EL-FS5-BZ specifies a field-selectable CCT fixture in Bronze. IG-LV-EL-FS5-BK specifies the same in Black. Because CCT is field selectable across all five options (2700/3000/3500/4000/5000K), a single ordered SKU covers all color temperature requirements — no need to specify CCT at time of order.

Installation note: The IG-LV-EL is rated for wet location use (IP65) and operates on 12–24VDC, compatible with standard low-voltage landscape transformers. The 0.87 in. knockout accommodates direct burial cable or conduit entry. Ensure the can is installed level and at the correct grade height to maintain flush trim alignment. The module is field-removable for maintenance without disturbing the buried housing.
